International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women - November 25

Winning Muslim Hearts After Years of Hypocrisy

David Clark, The Guardian

Now that the government has disowned the idea of a war on terror, there is a chance that Western policy can be rescued from the quicksands of Iraq and provided with a strategy capable of defeating jihadism. The attempt to meet this diffuse and stateless threat primarily with weapons and concepts devised for interstate warfare has been a costly error. It has led to a massive diversion of resources from the task of dealing with those responsible for 9/1

How can the source know its origin,
if it does not know its total stream.

How can I consider happiness an outcome,
if the outcome is held in the stand still of all.

Haw can I taste happiness without knowing.
if knowing is the trial of life.

Haw could I love the wise one,
if the fool by him is denied.

How can I explain the other,
if I do not yet know who I am.

How could I ever meet Him,
if He were not already inside me.

How could I acquaint myself with Him. the Self,
if I did not become the stream of this Being.

If readers and audiences are furnished with such opportunities, but still decide they prefer war to peace, there is nothing more journalism can do about it, while remaining journal
